Most of our jewelry is made of sterling silver. Some of our jewelry is made of stainless or high quality brass base and plated with 18K gold or rhodium. We use a process called Physical Vapor Deposition which is a vacuum coating that provides a strong and durable bond. PVD will last a much longer time than standard gold plating Standard gold plating isn't as resistant and will lead to quicker fading and corrosion.
With proper care your jewelry can last you years. Although our jewels are water resistant we do recommend taking them off before showering and swimming. We also strongly suggest avoiding harsh chemicals such as perfumes/body sprays, lotions or creams.
